the first and last show i've been to was saturday, Journey Fest with Newsboys, Providence, Horizons Fall, The Glorious Unseen, Urban D, Holy Moly Band, City Of David, Hello Revolution, Storyside B, My Brothers Scars, Third nail Rising, 39 Stripes, and Manic Drive! Others came too, but those were the best

oh nice! I'd love to catch Virgin Black sometime...

Anyway, my last show was The Residents at the Trocadero in Philadelphia. Sadly, the cool venues in town stopped having cool concerts, so any good show requires trekking over to Philly... not a drive I particularly want to do on my lonesome. So I've only been to about 3 shows this year. LAME.

Dragonforce/ Turisas/ Powerglove, Nov. 17 @ The House of Blues in Dallas, TX.

Powerglove was amusing with their video game music-influenced guitar dynamics, but we were totally there for Turisas, who played a too-short set. We left in the middle of Dragonforce. They're so overrated.
