Last One Standing

This one line from Nickelback's "Savin' Me" was all it took. Well, add in the little I know about I Am Legend and THAT'S all it took.

I want to make an RPG about what it's like to be the last one standing. It will be about a very small group of characters who wake up one morning in New York City to discover... no one. Everyone is gone, vanished from the face of the earth. A city once so vast and teeming now hollow and echoing.

But as to why everyone disappeared, why these characters did not, and what other dangers might face them is what I will need you for.

If you want to join, please PM me. As this will be a very small group I am going to be VERY picky on who I let in. Please, before you ask to be in this thing, listen to that song on YouTube (there are no bad words, so be happy), and ruminate on some ideas.

Perhaps this will work, perhaps not. But I certainly can't (and won't) do it without you all.

Now, let the vanishing begin.

Alright, I'm impressed. All I ask is that you (as well as everyone else) tries to search for un-stereotypical characters... or perhaps stereotypical characters played with a sense of dry humor... if that makes any sense.

Goodie. Now, see above. I know you normally go for the very quiet yet partially rebellious kids, which is fine. Having a kid or two in this group might not be a bad idea. But also if you could consider having an atypical character for you?

Now I am thinking of an character, probably in his late twenties. Now I am wondering. Say he had a girlfriend...err...make that wife, and he lost her in whatever just happened. What would he know? Is this a rapture-like thing, or more of a virus-like thing that kills everyone?

Oh and is there a deadline?

That's what everyone has to figure out in this OOC. I heard that in I Am Legend everyone turns into vampires or something like that. We need to figure out why everyone disappeared, if they're really gone, an what dangers will confront those who are left behind. And no, he won't know anything, at least not at first.
