While researching for Lulav's new thread,
What is True Messianic Breaking of Bread?
I came across this article. http://ffoz.org/blogs/2013/04/what_is_the_meal_of_messiah_pa.html

In it there was something that caught my eye.

In Hebrew, the seventh day of the feast of Unleavened Bread is called Acharon Shel Pesach (אחרון של פסח), which means "The Last [Day] of Passover." Like the first day of the festival, the last day is also a high Sabbath:

On the first day you shall hold a holy assembly, and on the seventh day a holy assembly. No work shall be done on those days. (Exodus 12:16)

In traditional Judaism, Diaspora Jews double each of the high Sabbaths, so for most Orthodox Jews living outside of Israel, the last day of Passover is two days long--a seventh day and an eighth day. Like many other Messianic Jews, my family follows the Israeli reckoning of the calendar, so our last day of Passover is always the seventh day of Unleavened Bread.

We find allusion to the importance of this last day in Torah. In Deuteronomy 16:8 we read, "On the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God. You shall do no work on it." The other festivals in the Torah are called "a solemn assembly to you." Only the last day of Passover is referred to as "a solemn assembly to the LORD."

It was the "last day of Passover is referred to as "a solemn assembly to the Lord" part. Being a person with a serious interest in all things regarding the Lord's return. This part jumped out at me.

What could be the significance? There is no history of fulfillment, is there?

Cool find Vis!

Seven days of being sin free? eating unleavened bread, purging out the body of leaven.

A male child is not circumcised until the 8th day.

could this tie in with the six days of man and the Sabbath of the L-RD?

Just throwing some thoughts out here.

You really will want to participate in this Vis, it boils down to really understanding what Yeshua was teaching on that last night. It is speaking of readying oneself for the Wedding Banquet.

From the book, the author speaking here.

After I delved first into the Last Supper scriptures (as seen in Course 1 and 2) and then into what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 11 (covered in Course 5), I did indeed find that the Messiah and Paul taught something very different. They were teaching important truths for the soon-coming outpouring of God’s love and showing how the last -day assembly will fulfill the scriptures by making herself ready as the Lord’s spiritual bride. When these scriptures are understood correctly, they point out the important pathways to follow that will lead us to this desired place and to fulfill God’s plan. I do not expect everyone to accept my conclusions outright, for long-held beliefs are often difficult to change. However, any student of God’s word will certainly be encouraged to examine the scriptural facts as I have laid them out in this book. Additionally, this presents an opportunity to see the scriptures from the light of the first-century Jewish idioms that the Messiah used.

The Way Forward— the Spiritual Bride Being Made Ready

Once the parables Jesus taught at the Last Supper are seen in the proper light (with the realization that this meal was not the Passover), they open the door to understanding how we can share in the true spiritual communion that God seeks with His people. God referred to Israel as His bride, and these truths show what is needed for all of us, from all nations, to make it to that calling that God desires for all who love Him.
