I'm beginning to think that AV has some reason why he is on the internet so much. Maybe has limited mobility? So I'm not going to hold it against him that he's here because of that possibility.

But there are obviously loads of more productive things to do on the internet rather than posting in counting threads.

You can take your bronze-age rhetoric back to where it came from.

Go convince someone who doesn't know their Bible about this so-called 'bronze age'.

The pre-Hebrew sons of Adam were working with brass (albeit, I'll admit -- not bronze) long before this pseudo bronze-age was even an event on the horizon.

...Really? THAT'S the problem you have with my posts? The fact that I called it the bronze age? Fine. But it's a nonissue. The point I was making was that they didn't know about germs, geology, or the way the earth goes around the sun. We'll call it the Bible-age if you want. That has nothing to do with the point I was making.

In my opinion -- (which isn't worth much around here) -- the 'bronze age' is a term that is Satan's cheap imitation of Adam's 'brass age'.

Yes -- I'll admit -- there was a period of time in earth's history where bronze was mined, smelted and used for this-and-that; but to gloat over it, and use it as an example of Jewish ignorance is just plain wrong.

The Jews were 'bronze age' because their predecessors were 'brass age'; and ten times ahead of the scientists of their time.

What are you talking about?! I keep telling you, "bronze age" is not an insult. We can call that time period whatever you want. We'll call it the Bible-age. It doesn't matter. Whatever we call it, the point is that they didn't understand lots of things that we do now understand. Germs, not demons, cause disease. The earth doesn't have edges. Etc.

And yes, the ancient israelites made weapons out of bronze. Everyone in that region at that time did. Here are some pictures.

Ancient Weapons Bronze Age Daggers and Swords

EDIT: Woops. Looks like Israel and Judea actually rose up about when the Iron Age started. But even throughout the iron age, swords of bronze were still made because early wrought iron was actually inferior to bronze for may uses. It was just easier to acquire. Either way...not brass. And more relevant to our discussion, not the age of science.

Like I said, my doctor says I'm not getting enough exercise posting on the Internet all day -- so now I golf on the Internet as well. ;)

Thank you!

I'll take that as sound advice, followed by a wise suggestion!

:)
