Increase your calcium ... supplement if you have to.... three days before you start... it will help tremendously....muscles need calsium and magnesium to contract and relax and since this is the biggest muscle ... which one contracts and relaxes once a month... it has a short time... where it will have a big demand for calcium... and will pull it from the middle of the back all the way down the thighs for calcium.... and the magnesium causes the muscle to relax... if it doesn't it is because you are low on magnesium and will cramp....just like a charlie horse in the calf muscle.
