...you're SO much more emotional?? I dont mean like temporary postpartum negative emotions, but I mean just a lot more tender and cry easier or feel more deeply? I used to be the kind of person who didnt cry at anything and I thought tv channels like TLC or whatever were just silly. Now I cry at the drop of a hat and I get all emotional over anything on TLC or any mooshy gooshy show. Did you notice a gradual difference too?

I noticed a change emotionally. I wasnt much of a cryer before I had my DD. Im still not, but like you said, emotional, mooshy shows and movies didnt really effect me but now they do. I think for me its because I imagine those things happening in my own life or to my DD. Because now you have another life to take care of and youre so involved with that small human being everythings just more emotional. It could also be the physical changes you went through.

Wow does this post have my name all over it!!! LoL:D:D

I would love to reply with ohh just ask my kids but..i will say since i believe my kids are older then yours, you get worse!!!!

Here are examples..

You see the news about a missing teenager,
Then i call all 5 girls in the room and say in whatever state it happened in
And say shes missing and eyes get wet! But then i add.... Now tell me you will never get into a car or walk up to a car , even when you go to college, now i'm crying tears flowing because i tell them if one day i ever get a call that you are missing how can i live not knowing where you are?
So thats one!
I can add a million more reasons you'll cry everyday the kid that calls them ugly, fat, and your heart breaks and you cry with them, because their comes a time when they need to fix things themselves!!!

Done making myself cry!!!!

That's me, too. WHenever something happens to a young child or a child goes missing and it's on the news, I instantly think of my two and get completely distraught. I don't know how I could go on living if something like that happened

On the emo thing - yep. My good friend and I laugh at how pathetic one another is when we go to the movies together and sit and cry through them. ^_^

I can totally understand watching bad news... but I mean I almost cry over movies like Karate Kid and shows like What Not To Wear (and of course the baby/birthing shows). I never used to do that...maybe...just maybe... Nah...but then again...I *am* late...

:D This is very true for me.

Before I got married and had kids I used to tease my mom about how she would cry at the drop of a hat. She used to relate some touching story and would be choking back the tears. I used to roll my eyes. I was always the happy-go-lucky child who lighten up emotional conversations with humor. Before I had kids I could probably count on one hand the number of times I had cried, but now...

Now I am my mother!

I cry about anything and everything. I cried when I was watching my daughter in her swimming gala, I cried watching her take part in the kindergarten concert. I cry when I hear of anything remotely moving, I cry so bad during movies I get a headache. I avoid films based on true stories because I just can't handle the emotions. Never in a million years did I think I would become like this! Now it's my mom's turn to roll her eyes.

I have always been an emotional woman, but since having children it has gotten worse. I'm okay with it though. :)

I'm okay with it too! My daughter will be 2 in March and since she was born, I have gotten progessively more emotional.
