grin & bear it when her hormones are raging
be sympathetic with all her aches & pains....rub her feet & back, maybe get her a massage (either from you or a gift certificate for one)
run out in the middle of the night to buy her whatever she's craving
offer to go with her to her OB appointments
if she's got morning sickness, bring her crackers/dry toast/tea/whatever she wants in bed before she has to get up

Just some ideas....;)

Oh, and congrats by the way!! How far along are you guys?

I have to agree. The best things you can do for her cost nothing. Do the dishes, vacuume, cook dinner for her (or order out and set the table nicely). And keep doing them. You dont have to do it all, just let it be known you are in it together and that you know roles are changing and are ready to pitch in and help out as a couple.

Oh like someone said before, compliment her. Just stare at her and when she asks what..just say, nothing, you are just so beautiful now :)

Lots of things to be done. How about suggesting a day out to pick out items for the babies at your local baby supply store. You both can wander the halls and write down what you need or want on the Baby Registry.

It is such a special time for both mom and dad before the arrival of their first child. All the dreams, fears and thoughts about the future. Especially with the first when you are the most insecure about what to expect.

Oh and dont take anything she says when she is grouchy personal. I never thought I would get witchy when I was pregnant, and I did. The poor guy when I was in labor and told him to go on and get a sandwich, it would be a while...whether it was a trick and I was testing him or not. ^_^

Oh yeah the best compliment my DH gave me last pregnancy "No she really doesn't complain much" (to his parents) was a total lie! but It made me feel sooooo happy to know he didn't think I was a whiner (which I was, and will be again I am sure!)

And the best compliment I ever got period, I don't think I was pregnant at the time, but I might have been.

"I couldn't do your job"
