Has any one read up on kotor 2. i herd that bioware is not making the game some third party developer is making the game. dose any one have any info ?

Bioware isn't making it but the dev they turned it over to has some heavy hitters onboard. Some them worked on Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale and if Bioware trusts them, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Its a shame that its been handed over to another company though. Bioware made an excellent job on the first game. Personnally, best game I've ever played. Amazing!!!

thanks for the info but that blows that bioware sitting on a goldmine of a game series. handed it over that makes me angrey. but jade empire has some thing going for it. it looks preaty good graphics+++++ looks better than kotor.

I've been a bit disappointed by the screenshots actually. I guess I was expecting more graphical improvement. Ah well....as long as they remain true to the original, I'll be happy. I just can't help but wonder why Bioware wouldn't demand to do the sequel. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ::Keeps fingers crossed::

From what I understand, Bioware has a lot going on with other projects so they passed kotor2 to a dev that they trust to do a good job with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well.

im excited about Kotor 2 it doesnt look as it once was in KotOR but its different Devs and of course only bits and pieces have been revealed too.

It is an amazing game. I've only beat it once and that was as a dark scoundrel/guardian. It's cool playing a noble jedi knight; it's even more fun playing a dark jedi. hehe

I have seen some screen shots and to me it looks awesome. Plus they have added a lot of new force powers and more characters. some previous chacters will return as cameos and from what i have read you may even be able to play some of them. The reason that bioware passe on ktor2 is because that they have been working on another game that is similar to ktor for xbox

I loved the first one, and plan to get this, the idea of effecting the other party characters light and darkside points is the biggest draw for me, I'm also interested to see if the new developer can deliver as much as BioWare have, atleast they are experienced.

yea, i have it and beat it, its a fun game and hope they come through just as good at KOTOR 1
