  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello hello boys n' girls :D

Yeah, I guess I know a few things about Jonathan Davis. I was a huge koRn fan a few years ago. Jonathan Davis often writes about his troubled childhood, focusing on the abuse that he endured, both physically and mentally, as a boy. His neighbor sexually abused him for years and he had some sort of problem with his step-mother. When he became older he went into this deep depression and his songs is pretty much about all of this.

Any questions... just ask.

I've only heard "Come Out and Play."
I am diametrically opposed to this newer metal that I call "Hell Bent for Bitter." It talks about getting knocked down in life, or having a bad attitude without resolving anything. In the old days it was about sticking together and working through life in spite of its problems.
But I like what I've heard from Korn. It's real. He really hurts and struggles to understand. It's like reading his diary. He's not writing for you or me. He's writing for him. The music is honest, and sadly(for the kids) it seems that his voice is a spokesman for more and more kids who are going through what he has.
