I have a cx7300 digital camera made by kodak, i would not suggest any kodak camera, the support for any problems is terrible, you talk to someone in manilla, the folks that work there have no technical knowledge, then they have to set up a call from the usa to you, i spent 3 days on one problem.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sorry to hear about your kodak problem, and, as you may have guessed, you are not alone.
Kodak camera's themselves are very nice and are user friendly. However, their software is absolutely horrible. I do not recommend ANYONE use Kodak's software or else you will have problems and their support is not there to help you do anything other than waste time. I say this from experience as I've recieved numerous customer complaints regarding these cameras and 9 out of 10 are due to bugs/limitations/user friendlyness of the software.
Even if you enjoy Kodak Easy Share, uninstall it and grab Google's Picasa 2 instead. You'll be amazed you did without it.

I have a Kodak easy share camera. If I want to do something to the picture I use another software program to resize, lighten or darken or do anything else I need to do the photo's

My husband bought me a DX7440 for Xmas and I love it, but I would like to know what other software do you use to edit. I find that I am having a hard time sending movies or my pictures are to large to add to forums ect.

I use photo filtre (actually spelled that way) and painter 23. There are programs out there to change the movie format to another format and so on to make clips smaller, just do a search on it. I don't have anything right now. I hadn't used the movie mode on my camera a whole lot.
