CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Too right, it amazes me every day that he is able to think so many thoughts about us... I mean his thoughts of us exceed every grain of sand on the planet of the earth!!! That includes under the water, the deserts, the beaches... he loves us so much!! He knows everything about us! He knows our thoughts and feelings he hears our prayers. He knows how many hairs are on our head, when an eyelash falls out, when we've bumped our knee. He knows how the bruise is going to form... before it even forms. He just cares so much that he knows about these things. And it astounds me that I have that God living inside of me everyday of my life, all the time. And he's there to take care of me.

Look at what's going on in this world now, all of the war and how those people there really need Him. They pray in desperation, as bombs fly over their houses and their children's lives are literally threatened every day, and here I am BLESSED beyond belief, and still I come to God daily asking for this, and that and it seems sometimes as if I must be bothering Him. I know, as we all do, He is GOD, right, ofcourse He's not too busy for each and every one of us, but I seriously feel like I'm so selfish for employing His help when it's probbly something I could do myslef. I want to have a DEEPER relationship with God, but I just feel like this is not possible. Everything I've been taught is in opposition to what I feel, so what's going on. I use to be so strong in my faith, now I wonder if I even have any. Sorry to throw this out like this. This may not be the right place, sorry if it's not. I am not looking for answers really, maybe just some understanding. I already know God cares and is always there. Thanks for the encouraging post though.
