  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was almost positive I was pregnant, but then when I first tested it came back negative, which put me off.
Then the queeziness and sickness stayed and then the following week my workmate had a hotdog... and it made me so sick to see that i had to run to the bathroom. I KNEW i was pregnant then (or there was something REALLY wrong with me!)
I tested that night, knowing that the test was going to be positive. :)

I'm not a very intuitive person, so I'd have to say not really.

My husband knew with my second pregnancy (he may have known with the others, I never asked) because he said to me 'I could tell you were going to tell me you were pregnant, you look pregnant, you always look more beautiful when you're pregnant'. Which, of course, made my heart melt.

But I conceive really easily. The only time I've had trouble was when I wasn't allowed to conceive and I wanted a miracle anyway - but God made me infertile for the exact amount of time that the doctor said it was unsafe for me to conceive so I think I was kidding myself in that time anyway.^_^ So I could tell, but only because it was logical. The three times I've conceived are the three times it's been possible for me to conceive.

I had a pretty good idea that I was. I'd had negatives for 21 cycles, so I would start to feel sick around that time every month (just my wishing mind). But when I actually did conceive, I started having very vivid dreams everynight, and I never do that. I also sort of feel the hormones rushing around, not to mention the fact that I started having to tinkle every five minutes.

When I took the test and their was that line I'd been waiting for. It was so great.

Before I even started wondering if I was, I would magnetically be pulled to the maternity stores and I had no idea why. I started going crazy and went to walmart and bought a test without thinking and went to the bathroom knowing it would come out positive and of course it did. I never had intuition about being pregnant before because if I thought I was having it, I would take the test ad it would come out negative.

I knew before I took a test that i was pregnant, I can't explain how but I just did, I told my husband and he thought was crazy but I just knew, unfortunately I also knew I was no longer pregnant before I had the m/c.

This time I had no idea, I thought I was late due to a flu-virus I had so i didn't bother testing until I was 6 days late, I was surprised to see a positive as I felt no symptoms whatsoever.

With most of my kids I knew before I took the test that I was pregnant (and that's why I took the test~ to prove it). With my first, and now my last though, it was TOTAL shock and I was in denial for at least a month both times. lol

I had this "feeling" I was, even though I wasn't even supposed to be able to. So I kept freaking out, and finally took a test just out of wanting to RELIEVE my anxiety...and it was positive.

I knew with my second. But thats because I was charting my BBT so I knew within a few days when my temperature didn't plumet like it usually does. I took a test 2 days later and it was positive.

With my first it was a shock, we were trying but my FS had told me that the fertility drugs I took didn't work that month according to my blood test and we'd have to double the dosage, I was so upset, so I was just waiting for AF to kick in to start the whole cycle again, it was late so I tested, negative. Waiting for a whole week and it still didn't show, I tested again (the box had 2 tests) just to prove that it was negative before I went back to the doctor, well what a surprise when it was positive!

I second guess myself too much...

I was trying to not get my hopes up so I was kinda ignoring the signs. I was forgetting everything literally & having crazy dreams.

Same here.

My mom knew and she's across the ocean, and DH was beginning to be pretty certain. I think my ruining two meals back to back with silly cooking mistakes I haven't made in years and years was a big clue to my DH.

I kept coming in here to see if maaaaaaaaaaaaybe I wasn't insane and I could identify with alot of what was going on, or if I was just stressed and imagining things.. I finally asked him to get the test more to relieve my own anxiety and know whether or not my cycle had just gone way out of wack for the first time in three years

I am most definitely an intuitive person (with my intuition only growing stronger now that I am a mother) and I had a sense that I had conceived the night that we did. Then I remember spotting a bit a few days after. When I took a test, it was still a bit too early and so the second line was so faint, no one else claimed to have been able to see it. Apparantly, I was the only one who saw a really really faint line and they were all thinking I was delusional. Turns out that even my estimated due date had to be changed once I progressed in my pregnancy to one that was aligned with the date I knew we conceived.
