It's good to learn both what your love language is and that of your Significant Other.

In one of Gary Chapman's books - the Love Languages of God,
he names five love languages that are 'our expressions of love'.
1 - Words of Affirmation
2 - Quality Time
3 - Gifts (yes, literal gifts, presents)
4 - Acts of Service
5 - Physical Touch
Each of us ministers in one of these and each of us is ministered to BY one of these more than the others.
