Kitty emergency - please pray.

My husband has taken our girl kitty to emergency this morning. She swallowed part of a rubber band around 6:00 a.m. and we tried getting into several clinics so they could immediately induce vomiting but to no avail...one was closing and the others not open. :o Finally found one open but they made him wait...so too late to induce the vomiting. Now he is taking her to our regular vet and we hope they can ex-ray and see what they can do next.

She is really sweet and seldom gets into anything at all. I had just opened her cat food and forgot to put the rubber band back on. She ate but in a few minutes I found she had also gotten on our counter and eaten part of the rubber band.

Please pray for her safety, accurate diagnosis, and care. We lost another kitty some years ago when something like this happened and they didn't give the right treatment soon enough. So we are on it...but trusting it to God's care. Prayers needed.

Thanks for those prayers...everybody! We are monitoring kitty today for possible symptoms of intestinal blockage. And hoping it will come out of her system soon. If she show symptoms she will need surgery...so far so good though.
