Kitten

Would any of you like a cute little grey tabby kitten about 5-6 weeks old? He is really adorable. Loves to be petted and wants to crawl all the way up you and sit on your shoulders, purring all the way.

Someone dumped him out by the road and he made his way to my house. He really needs to be an indoor kitty, but Tim, my rescued dachsund, isn't very nice to him. Moses the outside lab is just a big old baby and is harmless, but I don't trust Tim. So for now the little guy is outside with Moses.

ahh poor kitty wish I could help . someone will come around who would love to take that kitty home I am sure .

How would you get the kitty to us? UPS? lol I wish I could have it but I can't just yet. Just slap the dachsund if he's mean to the kitty. Or get the kitty its own room. Do you have a screened porch? You can put it on there with a ping pong ball and he will be in 7th Heaven.

My porch isn't screened unfortunately. Tim has had his share of scoldings and a few swats too. He never seems to lose interest however. I stay mad at him most of the time that the kitty is around. The kitty really needs to be with someone who has time to give him lots of attention. He wants it so badly. If he just knew it Moses would let him snuggle up with him. He's so patient with little things.

Perhaps I could advertize him in a cat a log. aaaaaahhhh.... I can't believe I just said that.

Sorry, have all the pets we can right now. One doggie, 2 kitties.

I know when he gets older (if you still have him) he'll swat the dog himself. Is there anyway you can let him have a perch or something out of the doggie's reach. We've done that with our dog and he knows his place. Although the cats came first, so they were full grown when he was just a baby. We had to protect him from them.
