If she knew anything about the 'wall of separation', she would know that's a theological and Biblical image. What was pictured was the family garden wall, it was immune to taxes and not subject to gleaning. That was the theological idea Jefferson was conveying to the Danbury Baptists. She's also forgotten that God is the Creator of all life. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by Him and we are created in His image. King David wrote, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" (Psalms 139:13). It is also written that our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit and we are not our own because we were bought with a price. We're commanded to honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Shedding innocent blood doesn't honor God.
