I was thinking about how fantasy is so often set in mideval settings so i came up with this idea for an RPG set in more of world in more of a victorian stage of history. I time when science and technology is starting to get off the ground protocol and morlas are of the utmost importance men are gentlemen and women are proper ladies. In this the major core of the world is the idea of clockwork, the few vehicles machine ect are made from clockwork.
In the kingdom of Kirkmore a strong King of the Sorbeck family has ruled Kirkmore for 9 generations. King Calson Sorbeck was one of those, after becomeing deathly ill and bed ridden for months. On the eve of the nations aniversary the king dies his advisors nobles ect assume that he would of made his his nephew hier and next in the line of kings. Instead King Calson names his daughter Princess Brina as his hier. This throws many into unrest as no women can properly rule. Full of intrigue and actions Brina must face aristocrats, merchants and peasnats some sopporting her others wishing her usurpation. Civil war may be on the door step of Kirkmore, but something must be done soon as the merciless Armies of the Red Star descent upon the Kingdom. Some would have them fight others surrenders.
