Background: Kip grew up in peace in Redwall Abbey with the rest of his fellow abbeydwellers. He is a hard worker and was well respected by all the members of the abbey. And while his trustworthiness was his greatest virtue, his love of practical jokes was his greatest vice. The few elders who were his favorite targets developed a cringe every time they opened a door, expecting something to fall on or jump out at them. Both his love of practical jokes and his incredible skills with both dagger and bow were taught to him by a hare of the Long Patrol who was seperated from his brethren in a searat attack and nearly died of his wounds in the cold winter. Kip stayed by his side at all times and was a great asset in nursing him back to health. To help repay the favor, the hare taught him everything he knew about fighting with a dagger and bow, and also everything he knew about practical jokes.
Description: Kip is an average squirrel in all areas, height, weight, etc. except for two things. His fur color and his ability to travel silently. As hard as squirrels are to see, one squirrel can usually spot another. Kip, on the other hand, is very difficult to spot by his family, even when he isn't trying very hard to hide. As for his movement, most squirrels can travel silently through the trees if they move carefully enough. Otherwise they russle leaves, break branches, etc. Kip can run full tilt through the trees without making the slightest noise. He's not exceptionally fast for a squirrel, but if you ever need someone to get somewhere and get out again without being seen or heard, Kip is the one to do it.
