from what i have seen, we have two synonymous phrases 'kingdom of God' and 'kingdom of heaven', the latter occuring most. That aside though, the kingdom is anywhere on heaven or earth or anywhere in the universe where God's principles are lived out.... that is why jesus said to his disciples 'the kingdom is in your midst'... i.e. your seeing the reality of who God is, what He does and His character, here and now.

bit wordy, but it will do.

The Kingdom of God is the key part of the Gospel. Sin seperates up from fellowship with God, keeping us out of his kingdom.

The Gospel that was taught ws that there is a way for us to gain entry back into the Kingdom, through Jesus Christ. Christ will establish his kingdom on earth as we are promised and the faithful in Christ shall be part of it.

A kingdom must have ceratin parts, a king, subjects, land. All this is outlined in scripture.

Can someone explain to me...what Jesus meant by the Kingdom of God?
What do you think the Kingdom of God means Gods soldier Clintus ?
I love how Paul describes the Lords Kingdom as some way we can identify and know
seeing it as the Lords presence [Spirit working ]within you and His peace and joy

Jesus said and keeps these promises !!
HIS Joy AND PEACE and His righteousness is give to us from HIM! :)
Jhn 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jhn 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.

Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

This is what the Kingdom of God is to me
God bless you all Chicka

Just for the record, the reason that we see both of these phrases is because of the different types of authors of the NT. People like Matthew who were obviously Jewish were hesitant to say the word 'God' so hence they used the phrase 'Kingdom of Heaven' while writers like Luke who were not originally Jewish did not have a theological problem saying 'Kingdom of God'. This doesn't really answer the question but it is nevertheless interesting.

To answer the question, I would like to support the idea that some have already mentioned that the Kingdom of God is actually on earth now. When Jesus came he ordained the start of the Kingdom. One phrase that I have heard that seems to elucidate this idea well is that with the coming of Jesus, the Kingdom is here, but not yet. That is, the Kingdom has begun, but God is continuing to bring it about.

I hope that helps.
