Nami woke up about an hour later with a vibration from her chair., they must've been getting ready to break through Twightlight Town's atmosphere. Putting on her seatbelt, she flipped two swiutches which took the entire ship off of auto-pilot. She looked over at Aaron, "Get ready, it might get bumpy,so save your game..."

((OK, Vangel's going to die, if that wasn't apparent in my last post. ))

Zi suddenly shot up from his chair. "$#@*!" Zi rushed to the controls, but to his dismay he couldn't make heads or tails of them. "Back! We have to go back! It's in Halloween Town! Back! Go back!"

Vangel looked at his necklace again, and let out a giant sigh. "Are you ready, my friend?" Jack walked into the room, trying to fake a smile. "No, but I won't ever be. You don't have to come with me." "Ah, but I must. I could never leave you in good conscience." "There is a significant chance that you will not make it back alive." "Yes, I realize this." "I'm sorry, but I cannot put you in that position. It is not fair to you." "Vangel, I think I will decide what is fair for me."

Vangel nodded and took out his sword. "This has been with me since the beginning." "It looks like a very strong blade." "Yes, he is." "Excuse me, did you just say 'he?'" "Yes. This sword has a gem on it, do you see?" Jack nodded. "This gem contains the heart of a warrior, a warrior who fought a great Darkness long ago. That Darkness spawned the Chain of Events, which now threatens the multiverse." "I see, but what does that have to do with the here and now?" "Simple. This warrior knows the secrets of the Darkness, and of the Chain of Events. He will tell us when the time is right to strike."

"I see. How will we communicate with him?" "That is the problem. I already have a heart in my body, and so do you." "We need a Nobody. But where to find one on such short notice?" "Quite the dilemma." "Quite. I am thinking that perhaps Zi should have remained with us?" "As am I. But we could take one of our hearts out, and exchange it with the one in the gem for a short time, and then speak with the warrior." "I will do it. You, of course, need the information."

Jack put his hand on the gem and his heart exchanged with the warrior's. "Can you hear me?" "Yes." A voice, not Jack's, answered Vangel's question. "Why have you given me a body?" "I am going to stop the Chain of Events, but I am not entirely sure that my plan will work." "It will. An immortal heart will deflect and collapse the Chain, as an immortal heart cannot die." "But my heart will be lost forever once the portal is closed off from the rest of the multiverse." "Yes, unfortunately." "Thank you." Jack's body put Jack's hand on the gem again, and the hearts switched places. "Are you ready?"

"Yes."

Cerebellum finally arrives at Xurik's mansion. He goes up to open the door when they suddenly open by themselves. Cerebellum walks in to See thousands of Heartless-Nobody hybrids for which he knows no name. " Xurik! show yourself!" Cerebellum yelled. The sentence echoed through the whole mansion. Xurik stepped out of the shadows near a door at the top of the main stairs. " I see you've finally decided to give up. As for our agreement the Moogles will be released." Xurik said. He snapped his fingers and two of the larger creatures opened a door letting the Moogles out. They were all very pale ,and sickly looking. " What have you done to them! Cerebellum screamed as he ran over to Morris the head of these Moogles. Morris would not respond to anything he just kept walking towards the stairs like the other Moogles. " I haven't done anything to them." said Xurik in a sarcastiic manner. " However my freins the Hollows have Bi-linked with them. I don't need to explain this since you will be experiencing this quite soon."

Nami suddenly slammed on the breaks without warning, this causing any unsuspecting members of the ship to lurch forward in their seats. She glanced out of the window and smirked, they were finally at Twightlight Town. The train had made its final pull into the station, the small little purple car following it at an uncanny speed.Arching a brow at this, she looked over at Aaron then asked, "What now?"

"You heard Zii. We have to go back. But, tere's no time t save him, even if we turn back now....Darn it...", Aaron spat.

"....There is on way to go back and save him....But, it would require an enormous amount of energy to open a portal big enough for the ship to fit through....", Aaron said.

Nami giggled, "We have three people. Yami, you, and I. I'll cook some things for us to regain it afterwards. What do you say?" she asked, pushing a button. Three holes appeared in front of her and Aaron, Nami's splitting in two so Yami could put hers in there. "All you have to do is put your hand into the hole, and the ship will create a portal so we can go get him. Do you want to?"

'Do we have a choice?", Aaron asked, placing his hand in the hole. A small void opened in space in front of the portal, but only the nose of the ship fit through. Aaron started pouring more enrgy in, and the hole expanded a little more, before stopping. "No more. That's all I've got.", Aaron said.

Nami shoved her hand into the hole, a white sticky substance wrapping around her arm. The substance pulsed, with every pulse energy was drained from her body. The third hole closed, since it could just take it from Yami inside of Nami at the same time. She panted and gasped at the exhaustion that overcame her, and the pain of the energy. On the brighter side, the portal expanded to the size of the ship. The ship began to creep into it, the colour to Nami's face almost being gone. "JETS ON!" shouted the angel to the computer. The ship blasted off through the portal, Nami ripping her arm out of it and flying back. "Wow..."

Zi sat back, helpless, as the ship flew through the portal. We've got to end this...

Vangel and Jack were outside at the large hill the Hollow had been at before. It's name was not important to Vangel now. "It's been a pleasure meeting you, Master Jack." Jack nodded and smiled. Suddenly, a portal opened, but not the one Vangel expected. "What in the world are they--" Just then the Chain of Events' portal opened up, wide and bellowing, Zi leaped out of the ship while it was still in the air, tumbling to the ground with a loud thud. "Vangel! What do you think you're doing, telling us the wrong place!" Vangel didn't answer, and quickly jolted towards the Chain of Events' portal. Zi yelled a curse and pursued Vangel, catching up to him and tackling him, causing both of them to tumble to the ground in front of the portal. "You can't do this! I won't let you!"

Vangel didn't answer as he sent Zi soaring hundreds of feet to safety, with a rough landing. Vangel stood up and glanced around, and looked down at himself. This is what you've made yourself... now change it. Vangel turned towards the portal, which was becoming larger as it sucked in more material. Vangel groaned and ran into it.

As the portal started to jolt and shake violently, Zi stood up and felt Vangel's encounters inside. Screaming out words that couldn't be heard over the noise of the screeching portal, the ground around Zi collapsed in and he fell downwards into blackness.

The Chain of Events' portal collapsed in on itself, sending out sound waves for miles. As the massive monstrosity imploded and exploded at the same time, a single teardrop appeared in front of Nami and fell into her necklace. At that moment, hundreds of hearts began pouring into Nami's necklace from seemingly-nowhere. After they all went in, a single heart remained and slowly drifted into the necklace.

As the inhabitants of Halloween Town began to creep out of hiding, Jack sighed. "Well done, m'boy."
