Zi slowly emerged from the ship and took a look at the foreign world around him. "I'm... going to go take a look around." Zi walked around the marketplace for a bit, then went around another building into an alleyway, where he saw a man beating a small child. The child screamed and tried to run, but the man continued pulverizing him. Zi clenched his fists and charged the man, sending him flying back at over forty miles per hour. Zi ran to the child and noticed a strange marking on his forehead. The child whimpered, then glared at Zi, who felt himself soaring through the air, and then smashing into a wall. The man had, by now, gotten back up and picked up the boy again. He threw the child into a wall and laughed. Zi slid to the ground and opened his eyes. That man! He looks familiar, but-- "Olaf." Zi blinked, suddenly realizing that this man was one of Vangel's enemies.
Olaf lifted from the ground and flew into a building... but Zi hadn't done it. Zi glanced at the boy, who seemed to be concentrating on something. Zi stood up, but the boy turned towards him and he flew back into the wall. That kid-- he's like me-- no-- he's different-- but he can use my powers! Zi now realized that both of these people were fighting against him. He used his powers to lift the boy a few feet, but the boy was stronger than he was, and threw him into Olaf as he landed lightly on his feet.
As Zi hit Olaf, their hands began to glow. Zi landed on top of Olaf, and they both toppled and rolled a few feet. Then, their hands began glowing brighter, and they stared in fascination. Suddenly, a low hum came from their hands, and then a loud whirring sound. The once loud crowd of the marketplace hushed to listen to it. Zi felt strange... like power was building within-- BOOM!
Zi felt himself again flying through the air, but this time much faster and much higher. Zi flew far over the marketplace, out of sight of Aaron or Nami, or the two in the alleyway. Zi couldn't open his eyes, and he couldn't hear anything, but he could still feel-- and he felt himself smashing into the ground at high velocity. Zi groaned and opened his eyes, but he couldn't see. "Oh man... oh man..."
As he began to get his sight back (although he could hear absolutely nothing), Zi realized that some kind of bomb had detonated with enough boom to send him flying, but not enough power to kill him. By now the humming had stopped and the marketplace was abuzz again. But Olaf and the boy were nowhere to be seen, and in their place was a swirling black portal.
