This movie was soooo awesome!! King Kong is amazing! and he is adorable too! I cried my eyes out at the end....and when the captured him...that was sad My husband said the sad part about the movie was that you KNOW whats gonna happen to Kong. I wish they woulda jst left him alone in the wild.LOL. OH MY GOSH...the bug parts were horrifying!!! I squirmed soo much in my chair...at one point I was squeezing my husbands arm so hard that he said..OWW! Those bugs were garantuous!! Not to mention the gross worm things that came outta the water! The Dino's were scary too! Overall, I give it a 10!

Am I the only Christian here that was disturbed by all the blasphemy? Cry??? I didn't shed a tear or even come close, and I cry at TV commercials. While the film was well made and the special effects were top notch, why oh why does Hollywood insist on making films that take the Lord's name multiple times? I think the only thing Adrien Brody ever said was "Christ". He had no lines to memorize!

Sorry, but I can't give my stamp of approval to a film that uses my savior's name as a cuss word, I don't care if it's a 3 hour epic like Kong.

I just watched "King Kong' and although I loved the movie I have to agree with you, I was very offended too when they used the Lord's name like that, I actually screamed at my TV screen.

Someone mentioned that God was awesome and his name should be used in awe or something like that, but this was outright blasphemy. In one particular scene the actor used 'Christ' as a cuss word. A common cuss word to express his disgust.

In the scene where they were climbing out of the pit from the insects I think (the quality of the DVD was poor so I may have mis-heard it) one of the guys said: "Thank God!" and another guy said, "Don't thank God (or did he say Carl) thank the captain. He's the one that told us to form a search party."

Another member said that if you were Christ-filled you'd understand why we feel this way. That is the ONLY way anyone would understand how we feel.

I don't want to get deeper into this but I'll just say the movie was great, it had a bit of everything. I cried, I laughed and I cheered on Kong in the fight scenes. I also thought the natives were a bit too freaky. I was also amazed; amazed that Jimmy shot at that guy with a machine gun and didn't hit him. I was also amazed that the black guy didn't die first. :o

It's a scream. Fight scene between King Kong and the dino's was realistic. Hoping he gets some type of Oscar for special effects cos he deserves it.
Loved King Kong.

I thought the movie was awesome. One of the better movies I've seen this year. Well, not quite, but it was good.
