Kindness

I just visited a pastors forum. I have to say the atmospher was so much more pleasant than these forums. The reason is this...instead of using sharp words they were using kind words. They may have disagreed with things, but they did not attack each other over their walk with God. I have found many harsh things in these forums. May we learn to grow in meekness and kindness. We may have power, but we need it under control. Remember a tender heart (which you can not know anothers heart) is easily damaged with a quick strike from another who wants to "educate" them.

Oh that is wonderful. I might visit sometimes. Discussions can be helpful or interesting as well as necessary, but the many contentious posts I have seen elsewhere are very disheartening.

I'm sorry for your bad experience looksgood, but somewhat confused as well. I've read almost all of the posts in this deeper fellowship forum for quite some time now and simply haven't found the harshness that you've detected. But perhaps I've overlooked some offense, perhaps even on my own part. If so, please bring it to my attention, and let me apologize, even in advance, if I've been harsh with you.

I'm sorry for your bad experience looksgood, but somewhat confused as well. I've read almost all of the posts in this deeper fellowship forum for quite some time now and simply haven't found the harshness that you've detected. But perhaps I've overlooked some offense, perhaps even on my own part. If so, please bring it to my attention, and let me apologize, even in advance, if I've been harsh with you.

LOL, no I haven't seen it here in the deeper fellowship forum. I am greatful for that. But I have seen sharp remarks on these forums on this site. It doesn't supprise me though as even in churches there are those sharp attitudes. Sometimes rather than shoowing correction in LOVE it is shown in the form of a quick personal blow. Thats why I made this topic. It was to remind us we need to be kind in everything. Yes we should correct, but we should do so with gentilness.

So true, JPPT, and kindness is always evident in what you share here. Godly kindness is truly one of His gracious gifts to us, as the fruit of His Holy Spirit (Jesus Christ the vine) residing in us!
