  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Try adding more bananas during the times that you are haveing diarrhea, they help to harden the stools. Also try and avoid stuff with prunes and other dried fruits. That might help, also call your doctor and ask what you can take.

Also drinking 8 oz of fluids every hour, this will help keep you hydrated. The fluids can come from water, diluted fruit juice (no prune juice) and soups.

The hormones just mess with your bowels (sluggish, then nutso!)... We are, like, the health food family around here, and so have bowel movements all the time (lotsa fiber!), but whenever I'm pregnant (especially at first), I slow down to one a day...sometimes less. I hate that!!!!!!!!!! But oh well...

Just don't take anything over-the-counter. Try to deal with it naturally as best as you can, and realize that your bowels will settle down and stop acting so goofy as they get used to the hormones. Well, at least I hope so, for your sake!
Love,
Molly

Bananas help to "thicken" things up!! Cheese, too....also (I actually was having this problem with my 2 year old! hehe)....yogurt is supposed to help, I can't remember if pregnant ladies can eat it or not, I think so? Stay away from peaches & prunes & fruit juices. When all else fails, give your OB a buzz & ask him/her what they suggest!!
