I've been single for about a year now. I ended a bad relationship, drew closer to God, etc. I'm happier than I've ever been.

Moving on; anyone know that Rascal Flatts song The Broken Road? Well, I've been praying to God that He will somehow let me know when He's about to bring my man into my life. And now, everytime I turn on the TV or radio that song is on. The first time I heard it, I thought "that would be a great song to dedicate to the one for me when I finally find him." So...lol...I'm wondering if someone is headed my way.

The question is: does anyone else do/pray silly things like this?

Sure... I pray for things that would consider "silly" to some. I've asked the Lord to give me a sign and wouldn't you know it, I started seeing this guy's name who i love very much all over the place. lol

I doesn't matter how silly it seems. God desires to be a part of every part of your life. It doesn't matter what it is, if it's on your mind take it to him.

I will give a word of caution though, when praying for a sign, so many times we want to see a sign so bad, and we are so overly observant looking for one. That we we signs everywhere. They may or may not be from God, time will be the great revelaer there.

I pray all the time and they are always silly

I asked this girl out on wednesday, and for once I really like her and what she is all about. We have not had a date yet and I pray about it almost all the time. If she knew that I would be "too crazy to date" but I find so much calm in the lord. He is truly the rock where we are the sand.

I was out of a relationship about a year ago a pretty bad one and I am sure you are in about the same place I am ready to get back to life.

Please lord if it is your will help give Tink peace and the reward of someone special to share life with, remove the anxiety of hoping and waiting from her daily worries so she can grow in you lord. Give her a godly man that will show her strength where she is weak, and let her have the wisdom to always remember how perfect your plan is for her life.

I pray not for myself, but for others. God knows what I want and what I need. I trust him to give me what I need and the rest is up to him.

I felt like that in a huge way, I talked to my pasture and the college group at my church about it. They told me that is Satan trying to make you feel like you are not good enough for God.

Truth is God loves you like no ojne ever could and he is the only one who will never laugh at you. Next time you feel like that say "Get behind me Satan! Christ dwells in meand you have no power over him!" Say it with authority and you will be amazed at how it makes you feel.

I pray that all the time!!! and its funny that you mention country music too lol. (thats a great song by the way ) the song Youll Be There by George Strait and Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban are two songs that remind me of something like that and they are always on now!!! i wont even turn the radio on, someone in my house will and i wont even hear it until one of those songs come on...its weird but awesome at the same time. it just makes me excited to see what God has in store for me.
