Yet another innocent victim of terrorism, who was callously executed by fundamentalist extremists.His faith is only of note as many westerners leap to conclusions about people of other cultures, with bias and judgment, and many don't care unless someone share our beliefs, which shouldn't matter, but sadly, it does to many!
Heavenly Father, I humbly ask that you will embrace our brother, Kim Sun-il, Father, please bring comfort to his mother and father, Shin Young-ja, and Kim Chong-kyu, and his sister, Jung-sook, and comfort the rest of his family and friends. May those he leaves behind have strength and perseverance during this time, and find peace, healing, and forgiveness in the days to come. Please have mercy on those who ignorantly misuse your name to commit such acts of violence. Heavenly Father, please guard our hearts from making generalizations and judgments about those of other cultures whose beliefs are not reflected by the actions of such extremists. Please soften the hearts of the inhumane, and protect those who cross their paths. May your Spirit comfort the families of so many who have been lost.
