Greetings:) I had heard something about kim clement but did not know if it was true, b/c it came from someone who took issue w/ the WOF, and P/C denom. He made the statement that we'd find osama by Jan 1st. I know he had prophesied that our next pres was going to be a man of god (while clinton was still in) and that came to pass. I've also seen him give personal words of prohecy to others. Anyone know if he said this, and the context in which it was said?

Actually he said Osama would be captured in Oct. He has made many many false prophecies.
He needs to be held accountable by the body of Christ. We all know how the media holds our leaders accountable.:(

Here is the link to the Prophecy page of Kim's website. Please note all of the media links that are connected to the listed prophecies.

I can't say as I know where the alleged remark about Bin Laden was, in all of these, however, he did prophecy that Pres. Bush would be re-elected correctly. In fact, I have it on tape, as I was watching TBN the night he said it! ;) Happy Hunting for whatever! :D

Blessings to you!

Thanks for the replies. To be honest with you. I RARELY watch tbn anymore. I used to be able to watch it pretty much all day and get fed, but the network seems to be taking a shift. I did however stumble upon Jentzen Franklin last night-he was talking about fasting and it was GOOD!

I didn't know what he was, I just thought this would be the best place to ask. Did I step on someone's toes:scratch:

I was not offended by your post at all. I just wanted to ensure that proper information was given. My post was not written from anger or even to cause a dispute.

I have just seen so many people confuse Third Wave and Prophetic Movements with Word-Faith. Many people, especially the so-called apologetic sites, do not seem to know how to distinct between the two.

Some of the WoF teachers have problems with the way some of the things are going in the "prophetic movement" that Clement is a part of. Kenneth Hagin has a couple of books in which he addresses some of these things (without mentioning names).

Thanks for the info. I didn't think he was WoF. I still would like an explanation of Third Wave. I hope you don't mind. :)

Hi faithgal

The "Third Wave" can be explained this way:

1. First Wave - the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Pentecostals like William Seymour and Charles Parham during the Azusa Street Revival in the early 1900s. Thus the birth of the Pentecostal MOvement.

2. Second wave - the outpouring of the Holy Spirit accross denominations in the early 60s led by men of God like Dennis Bennett. Hence, the birth of the Charismatic Movement.

3. Third Wave - John Wimber, the founder of the Vineyard Churches (which broke away from Calvary Chapel under Chuck Smith) was teaching a "Signs and Wonders" class at Fuller Theological Seminary. He became good friends with Peter Wagner. Through his academic teaching, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit came upon Evangelicals who otherwise had difficulty identifying with the Pentecostals and Charismatics. Wagner was the one who coined the phrase "Third Wave."

The current prophetic and apostolic movements (which Kim Clement is a part of) are primarily within the Third Wave camps though not all Third Wavers agree with the emphasis within the former mentioned movements.

I hope that helps.

Lets stop looking at what man is doing, and let us look at what God has for us in 2005. Let us look at what God is wanting from us, and if there are any questions in anyone's mind, ask God and he will tell you, which are the false prophets and the true prophets. The Word of God say's we need to do warefare on words that are spoken out, and if they don't gel in your spirit, let them go. God is the judge on these prophets and the word's they speak, so let us just contionously pray for them, because if God is not happy He will shout His disapproval from the roof tops and expose all those that are in it for the money only and not for the kingdom of God. Let's keep our focus on Jesus and not man.

I remember that Dad Hagin always admonished us not to judge or incorrectly discern the body of Christ.

Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
