  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I always thought 3 would be nice ( fitting in the backseat of a regular car ! ) but as age is increasingly becoming a factor I'd be having to be a baby making machine and have them close together.

But I've just recently ( after a lot of prayer ) decided to begin to apply for overseas adoption when I hit 35 ( I'd be about 37 by the time it all went through ). Big decision but one I feel that God is all for at the moment !

But who knows, the man of my prayers may be around the corner and I'll meet him tomorrow ! ;)

I'm all for the God plan !

I have some friends that have adopted from overseas. I think it's a great option to keep as a Plan B, so to speak.

I wanted "all" of my kids to be at three year intervals. My older son is 3 yrs, 1 month older than my younger son. My younger son will be 3 in November - so if I do have more kids someday, the 3 yr plan is not gonna be happening! :p

Two - or any even number - is ideal, really. That way there is never an odd-kid out.
I figure with only two of them, there's less of a chance that they'll play "monkey in the middle". ;)

Yeah - but if you have two boys, then the older one just shoves the younger one when he wants what his little brother has... LOL

I grew up with 2 older brothers. When I was younger, they used to take turns beating me up and picking on me. As I grew a little older, both of them would gang up on me. Finally, it got to the point where I could whoop the crap out of both of them at the same time, so they backed off. It really stopped after my brother had all his friends over at the house. They were picking me on for about 1 hour straight. I was already in a bad mood because my brother didn't pick me up from school and I had to walk the 3 miles home after football practice. I eventually just went nuts and bloodied the lips and nose of 4 of my brothers friends. I think they got the point I had enough.

So, big brother may win for a while, but sometimes little brother decides enough is enough!
