Kid's Hang-Out Forum


We have many kids on this forum and not a lot of interest has been put into activities for that age group.

I can think of several activities we could have for them to be involved in that would or could be Christian or non-Christian oriented.

We have the welcoming angels and a kid's pet workers forum but we still need to have more things geared to their levels.

They could earn blessings by being a pet worker or a welcoming angel for the new intros as well as earn blessing playing the games. You know kids they always need more blessings.

We have many donors that give to pet forum and I don't think any of them would be opposed to blessing the kids also. The donors could certainly make that request if they don't want their blessings to be used that way.

We could have games especially for them. Christian or non-christian and they could chose what they would like to participate in.

I would like to be over this forum and have it be a part of the Pet Forum. My feeling would not be hurt if I did not get this wish because I know we have many well and better qualified people here than I am but I would do all within my powers to keep it clean and safe.

We would need to make some big BIG BIG Announcements
to get everyone's attention.

Everyone could submit suggestions apply for positions as this would need to be monitored 24/7.

We could give them their own special kid's icon to be able to enter the forum. :o

We could decide what ages would be allowed. 6-14-15-16 or something around those ages.

Site Supporters do you have young kids? I bet most of us do have young kids or grands.

Give it some thought. Just a thought God droped into my spirit today.

Well I am thinking of the adults knowing whether this would be something we need for the kids.

I have placed a poll in BE if anyone is interested in voting. We have to have 20 votes to get this request considered I have been told.

So if any of you think this would be something we need or not need you might want to vote.

I dunno if it would be good for kids. I noticed you haven't posted your age on here. The Internet can be a very dangerous place to hang out if you're young...maybe not so much on this site, but who knows?

So, how young are you, sister? What age group are you wanting to have on the kids' site, if allowed?

Hi Sister, Guess what, my birthday is Dec. 1944. I think I would pass the test of morals and character, I would be more than happy to give the Administrator my whole life history from the day I was born right up to the time I am typing this post.

Just for the record, there is not a skeleton in my closet. I am a certified Sunday School teacher from Berean University, I have worked in schools, churches, I am a certified Children's literacy teacher and have raised two of the finest children in the world. I work with children everyday right here on this form and I also have a work record here that would stand up to anyone's scrunity.

I will be glad to answer anymore of your questions if you will send them to me.

It would be good to know that you and more people like you were out working in our communities working with and watching over our children. If I were physically able I would still be out there working and watching over them but as that is not possible for me at this time in my life I have chosen to work mentally with them as best I can with this computer.

While I think it's ok to be asking questions like this, I don't think it's necessary to ask questions in the "tone" you are.
I am 48, as you can see, and I have an 11 year old daughter on here. There are several kids in the BE area, and we all watch over them very very carefully. The kids all have special permission to be on here, and the majority of them (that I know of) have parents here.
If a parent wants to be in another area, then he or she can rest assured someone is watching over them. thus the reason for the post here and in other areas.

While you are absolutely correct in what I detect as internet safety for our children, I can honestly say I'd rather have the kids here than somewhere else such as MySpace. Also, the parents of these kids have to do their part in making sure the kids are also playing safe, not divulging info etc..example, I have a friend that has become somewhat of a mentor to my young daughter, and every pm he sends her he cc's me, I also have access to her account and know each and every pm that comes and goes.
I don't think our friend here is "up to something" as I perceive from your post. And I sincerely hope that is not what you are suggesting at all..

I simply asked a question as to their age and they replied. I've been in a seminar for the past 2 days so haven't had time to get back to this until now. I thought that the person writing here was a "kid." Now I see that they're actually older than I am.

CFPet Rescuer, Sounds like you have a plan for the children on here. I wish you well in your endeavor. As for me, I'm fairly busy doing many other things in my life. So, I may not be back to this thread at all.
