My interpretation of these ideas go beyond Hovind. He just brought up things that made me explore a little deeper. Beleive me, last summer I listened to your gods such as Richard Dawkins, and it came in between me and my faith. But at the end of the day it just made my faith stronger

My interpretation of the life is it is nothing then a mere illusion. The only truth I have is my perception of it. .

First of all, I don't particularly like Richard Dawkins; he's too condescending for my taste.

Secondly, your interpretation of these ideas is based on bad information from people like Hovind. Which gives you a false sense of the "seriousness" of the "holes" in evolution and deep time theories. So it is no wonder you don't believe in the things that Hovind teaches against...I don't either. Unfortunately for you, the things that Hovind is teaching against are things that science doesn't even hold to in the first place.

Personally, I don't really use the theory. If I do, it's only for laughter.

Notice I included the word indirectly.

So you have just said that you use no petroleum in any form. You don't drive. You don't eat food grown with modern equipment. You don't use power from a grid since natural gas and oil driven generators are always part of the grid. Nor do you use plastic in any form.

For some reason I don't think you are telling the truth.

Don't know bruh. I've took classes on human evolution in college and I saw the flaws in the theory. My pops has a degree in nuclear medicine from Johns Hopkins and even he said biological evolution is a joke.
Please do tell all about the "flaws" in human evolution theory. Then you can write a paper and win the Noble Prize. Oh and I am also very impressed that a person with a degree in nuclear medicine thinks human evolution is a "joke." As if he is any expert on human evolution.

Hovinds stuff just opened me up to other parts of it. Like I said a l lot of this science has to do with money and politics so I don't take it seriously.
Hovind doesn't know what he is talking about. My favorite assertion from him is that you can take a single drop of water and spread it evenly across the surface of the planet. Some nonsense about The Flood, if I recall correctly. He is an embarassment even among other professional creationists, and that is a low standard.

May not be my actual hero, but I liked his presentations.

My personal hero would be scarface :)

His presentations may look slick, but that is how a snake-oil salesman operates. All looks and no substance.. but your money is gone nonetheless.

Careful. You're going to be attacked by those here for whom science is their religion. Pointing out flaws in it is like insulting their god; Darwin.
We don't have a god, like the bible is yours. Darwin was wrong about a number of things he wrote. Gods are never wrong. For example, you believe the bible is never wrong. Therefore it is your god.

It's cool. I understand this is their faith. I respect that.
Your respecting something that doesn't exist. Faith if for religion, not science.

It is quite possible that Matthew was the "Kent Hovind" of Jesus' disciples.

In any event, Saul of Tarsus would make Kent Hovind look like a Boy Scout.

Jesus forgives ... science can't.

I would say this post is an insult to Matthew.

Matthew was a tax collector. Tax collectors back then were notorious for taking more than what was required, so as to fund their endeavors.

Luke 19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

So Matthew was a crook, then? Good to know.

Ya ... they're called "sinners."

Ah, but you didn't accuse Matthew of being a "sinner"; you were more specific -- I do believe you implied that he was a liar and an embezzler.
