There is nothing honorable about Trump slapping his name on another President’s memorial. And he put his name first. Yes, diminishing JFK‘s name and memorial exposes Trump for who he really is.

A memorial is an object or place which serves as a focus for the memory or the commemoration of something, usually an influential, deceased person or a historical, tragic event.

Of the two usual options, a tragic event is the only apt one.

Yes it certainly does reveal the kinds of people apparently ok with someone attaching their name to another person’s memorial. The kinds of people with no respect or reverence for the dead.

I think it more exposes who his supporters are. It would be so easy to simply push back on a move like this and show how it’s not resonating with anyone but instead, they just go along with it.

I guess when you’ve already looked past the tires to Epstein, the blatant, open corruption, the toxic personality and the various sexual indiscretions, something like defiling a memorial to an assassinated president is pretty small potatoes.

Trump, 79, posted various screenshots of social media posts via Truth Social on Tuesday, December 30, defending the renaming of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., to The Trump Kennedy Center. Some of the posts chastised the famous Kennedy family.

One post read: “The Kennedy Family have LONG neglected the Kennedy Center, btw. They don’t raise money for it. They never show up. And the only Kennedy who has been there recently is a member of Trump’s cabinet.”

“The Trumps have always been supporters of the arts. The Kennedys are supporters of the Kennedys,” another social media post read.

Just hours earlier, the Kennedy family announced the death of Tatiana, who died aged 35 on Tuesday after being diagnosed with terminal acute myeloid leukemia, a form of cancer, following the birth of her second child in May 2024.
