Outside of listening to alot of gospel, my next favorite to listen to is Keith Urban. I love Keith and his music is awesome!!
He can jam singing an upbeat song and grab hold of your heart singing something filled with emotions.

Keith is very talented and just an all around great guy!!

Personally, I'm kinda likewarm about his latest CD. 'Stupid Boy' is OK, and I think it's about the best of the lot. On the whole, I think this CD is too mellow. I like some fast, loud stuff mixed in there, too. Golden Road and Be Here were smokin'!!

I LOVE "Golden Road." "Somebody Like You" I think would have to be my #1 favorite song of Keith's. Not that it is easy to choose one!
Hearing "Memories of Us" on the radio is what really got me into country music. Within a week or two of hearing that song, I bought all the Keith Urban albums I could find. I need to replace my "Be Here" cd, most of the tracks don't work anymore on my player!

I still have not truly listened to every single track on his newest album. But I love the first 4 tracks. Life is just so crazy right now....and the cd player in my car is broken. That's where I used to listen to music the most. A couple of summers ago, my two oldest daughters and I were driving down a country road in Texas on a gorgeous sunny day. I was Blasting "Somebody Like You," all the windows down as we drove down the road. What a great memory!

"Once In A Lifetime" is a special song between Jesus and me. It makes me think of Him, from the very first time I ever heard it.

I love Keith and he and his family are in my prayers. The man is a blessing!

Memories of Us is definitely one of my favorites too!
The first time I heard it I was in my car. I turned it on part of the way through, and it literally stopped me in my tracks. Honestly, it felt to me like Jesus was singing it to me. I was crying, let me tell you!
(forgive me if I've shared this story here before, I probably have.)

That's the song that introduced me to Keith's music. He's definitely in my top 3 of my all-time favorite singers. Keith, Wayne Watson (a CCM singer) and Josh Groban. Absolutely love all three of these guys' music.

Keith will be in the city near me this weekend!!! But I couldn't get tickets.

Just want to tell you, I love your Mr. Darcy avatar!
That scene in "Pride And Prejudice" makes me think of Jesus. The way Mr. Darcy comes walking up in the early light of the sunrise, seeking his bride....reminds me of The Song of Solomon, and our Jesus returning for HIS Bride.
