The nightmare, being one of the most feared entities in the northern lands, first started to disappear around the turn of the century. Much less known than vampires, but much more rare, they're known for not only having the well-earned title which the name suggests, but the habits of such as well. Instead of looking the innocent part all of the time, much as a vampire can do simply by hiding their fangs, their anger controls their appearance. Anger seems to change the beautiful creatures into something much more..well..nightmarish. The last documented Nightmare that actually murdered was the one known as Vance DeCreed, the father of Keevie DeCreed. Thought to have died, he left his legacy by the vampyre, Raven Leigh. Keevie currently lives in the upscaled areas of the anarchist East Haven. Though she appears to be nineteen, the mere thought of her teenage years makes her laugh, as she was literally grown into adulthood per her species by five years of age.
