In general, there are Three Primary things for one who is performing Guard Duty to Keep Watch for 1) Detrimental Threat (to include an unlawful Infiltration), 2) Tidings (News, esp., from Messengers) and 3) (surprise) Visitations from Higher Echelon, (often unexpected).
Detrimental Threat
Keeping Watch for a Thief, Enemy or Threat of a Dangerous Animal includes taking careful note of warning Signs creeping in one’s imagination hoping to brood in one’s heart and be brought forth from one’s lips or manifest in one’s actions, whose early warning Signs include evidence of Fear, Pride and Ignorance.
Tidings
Keeping Watch for Tidings includes Studying the Gospel of the Toruth and the Testimony of Immanuel’s Disciples for the sake of increasing Knowledge (that we may discern where we or others stand in light of the truth), and apply Wisdom as we grow (or assist others in their growth) in the Faith.
(Surprise) Visitations
Keeping Watch for Visitations from Higher Echelon are not intended to be Unexpected, yet due to Ignorance, Doubt and Disbelief in the Gospel many do not have any Expectation of a Visitation, let alone have a clue as to when such a Visitation is most likely to occur, notwithstanding scripture only gives us a Season, and or a clear Window when such Visitations are scheduled to occur.
The consequences and repercussions of not Keeping Watch are usually the primary motives for one to Keep Watch in the first place, to advert from Detriment and not miss out on an opportunity to become, increase or maintain Prosperity, however failing to Recognize a Visitation from Higher Echelon is to embrace Double Jeopardy, for one will not only Receive Detriment, they will also miss out on a Winner takes all opportunity.
The Denominations love to quote passages that pertain to Keeping Watch, yet I’m not entirely convinced that they are aware of the Words which they lift up.
Those who are aware of the pertinent passages which pertain to Keeping Watch, and the texts which substantiate the truth of this report, by all means bring forth the evidence which we have received from on high.
