I loved that BBC show. It aired on public television. It was another show that ended too soon in my personal opinion. Hyacinth Bucket wanted to "keep up with the Joneses". Maybe she was just unhappy being a middle class woman. She was a fun character to watch. I miss watching that show. At least "Last of the Summer Wine" still airs.

aww I miss Last of the Summer Wine... it never airs here in TX. But I watch Keeping Up Appearances every single week, even though I grew up with it and have seen every episode (including the specials) probably about 100 times each lol

Keeping Up Appearances was one funny show. You really had to laugh and weep for the husband. They played off each other so well.
