I have a question about keeping a private journal. Not sure if anyone can help me, because this isn't exactly a question about how to write it so much as how to hide it. I live with my mother, who has a nasty habit of snooping through my private belongings. I'm 20 years old and she counts my prescription pills, reads my books, and logs all of my chat conversations from home. All my life I've wanted to keep a private record of my thoughts, but each time I've tried she's found it and criticized me for my thoughts. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for how I can hide a journal or keep it from her. (As hard as I might try to keep the book with me at all times, chances are I would forget at least once and leave it somewhere it can be found. Also I wouldn't put it past my mother to sneak a read while I sleep.) So...yeah. Any ideas?
