  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Keep fit

i don't do anything at the moment (tut tut), but i'd like to get into swimming. I was at a physio preg class the other week and she said not to let your body temp go up too much (which it obviously can do in the pool without you noticing) and to watch your ligaments doing the breast stroke as you stretch your legs to the side. But done nice and slowly is fine.

She said front crawl is probably best (with regards to keeping your limbs in alignment) however it's not nice having your face in the water all the time.

THere's also aquanatal classes.

I'm going to buy one of those birthing balls cos they can be used during pregnancy and come with exercises.

Walking's good too. I've heard a lot of people talk about pregnancy yoga, however the physio also recommended being VERY careful at these classes if you haven't done yoga previous to being pregnant as we've all get extra stretch in our ligaments and could damage ourselves easier.
