It took several attempts for me to stay sober. I never stayed out long, and I kept coming back until the miracle happened. I'm so grateful I did keep coming back. We aren't in competition with anyone and no one works the program perfectly. I really didn't need anyone to kick my but - alcohol did a good enough job of that. I just hope everyone reading this gets in the habit of sharing here on a regular basis. It's so important. Share when things are going good and when they aren't going good too. Easy does it a day at a time. Christ is the hero. He just says come unto me. He longs to do for us what we can't do for ourselves. When we trip or fall He doesn't draw a sword. He wants to love us into wholeness. That's what I've found.
