Anyone here like Korean pop, Japanese pop or other Asian pop? How did you get into it, who are your favourite bands and singers, and how big is it in your country?

Been into J-pop for several years, and then K-pop came along in the last year and I just loved the amazing choreographed dance routines and infectious beats. In particular, SNSD (Girls Generation), 4 Minute, B2ST, Secret, 2PM, 2AM, Miss A, etc. are amazing groups.
I still love J-pop, but it seems to be a bit stale by comparison these days. I listened to Utada (Hikaru), YUI, and a few others, but mostly Utada Hikaru. It seems AKB48 is very popular these days, but I don't know... it doesn't grab me at all.

I love several artists such as Rie Tanaka, T.M. Revolution, Gackt, Sakamoto Maaya and a lot more.
