Yes I can, the denial of assistance to others is not legally defined as sin.Can you read Matthew 25:41-46 and say the people Jesus refers to here did not sin? If so, what other reason would there be for someone to be denied entry to heaven if they didn't sin?
If sin is lawlessness, then not visiting an imprisoned person is not defined as a transgression of the law. So entry to heaven is denied on some other basis other than with the legal definition of sin.
If the ultimate expression of God is love. Then it follows that the antithesis of this divine love must be selfishness, seeking one's own pleasure and ambition above others.
In the text (Matthew 25:41-46) these people who never cared for others were obviously selfish people. These people were, in fact, opposed to Jesus because they did the complete opposite of what Jesus had instructed them to do.
