i recently picked up a movie titled GRACE unplugged thinking it would convey a decent christian message. Instead what we get is a false representation of true Christian faith representation.
First off in the truer sense of absolute representation it is vital and adamantly important that we are presented with both verbal and non verbal behaviors in a film. One that conveys a message that there is no partiality and expected to be complete in it's absolute message in/on how we should react, behave, live, and thrive as true Christians and believers in JESUS CHRIST.
As I began viewing what is supposedly based off a faith system I immediately recognized ONE outstanding misrepresentation that slams viewers in the face and it appalled me to no end that this film could be related to any part of the true believers in JESUS CHRIST's principles and that is............
"We are to live poor so others can be rich!" How can this film in it's gross display of the opposite of that principles even convey a healthy righteous message when we are told time and time again in the word of GOD the holy scriptures to NOT chase after treasures in the world and abstain from that which defiles us; which in part is the love of money?!
If you look closely at the way the FAMILY lives does it convey the message of the love of money or the model of a true Christian where in which we are to live poor?
Ahh NOOOO!!
The house, the vehicle, etc are misrepresentations of how Christian's are to thrive, survive and aid others. We genuinely do not work for ourselves, but for others; this is the spirit of love and charity.
"How can someone say they are Christians when in fact they purchase and live in houses that are blatantly luxurious buy poor standards, and drive vehicles that are complete cash cows?" Or define themselves with the spirit of GOD when they cash cow with unnecessary luxuries?
Instead the family should of been represented by residing in a small shanty, hovel or rental space and driving beat up old chassis!
Do not get me started on the girls and women wearing jewelry, makeup, and fancy clothes!! We are also warned against immodesty in scriptures!!
This alone warrants a do NOT watch this film as the message is misrepresentation in principles that are supposed to be in JESUS CHRIST perfect message.
