man God gave me something so awesome lastnight, i almost made a fool of myself preaching it to myself making too much noise hehe.
but anyway...
i dont have the scripture on hand, but in proverbs chapter 1, solomon said to the young men that if they would just turn at the word of the Lord in their life, he would pour out his spirit on them and would his words known unto them, and its like God said "just turn..." and it went off in me like a bomb.
i about had a fit...
cus man this is so good, we have these struggles we have these issues, sometimes were running from God and running from our purpose and the word of God comes and brings conviction and we begin to get confused and worried and tedious and careful, because we want to change, we want to be diffrent we want to live a new life unto God, but theres so much that we dont understand, so much we dont know, so much we cant do, we still fall, we still mess up, we still fall into sin everyonce in a while, c'mon, can anyone feel me here? we still have these problems and sometimes we cry out to God and say "God... i dont know if i can do this, is there hope for me? can i really change?"
"God can i be free from this lust?"
"God can i stop cussing?"
'God can i really ever have a stable life again after all i did to mess it up?"
and our minds begin to work and wonder and they always fall short.... we cant see how its going to work.... we dont have it in us, and we dont even know where to start!" it seems like its a hopeless cause!
BUT GOD SAYS, YOU DONT HAVE TO BE PERFECT! YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER! YOU DONT HAVE TO UNDERSTAND IT ALL! YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE IT FIGURED OUT! JUST TURN! JUST MAKE SOMEKIND OF RESPONSE!
sometimes the most powerful thing we can ever do, is just turn.... not becuase we got it together, not becuase we got it figured out. not because we can do this... but God spoke, AND YOU RESPONDED! AND THATS ALL IT TAKES!
YOU DONT HAVE TO KNOW... JUST RESPOND!
YOU DONT HAVE TO BE STRONG.... JUST RESPOND!
YOU DONT HAVE TO BE WISE... JUST RESPOND!
becuase sometimes we cry, becuase all our wisdom, all our strength has failed us... and now? now what will we do! JUST RESPOND TO GOD!
JUST TURN....AND GOD WILL DO A WORK!
ITS NOT BECUASE YOUR WISE, ITS NOT BECUASE YOUR SO GREAT, ITS NOT BECUASE YOU HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT....BUT ITS THE FACT THAT YOU HEARD HIS VOICE AND RESPONDED! THATS WHAT MADE YOU GREAT!
and if you do that....even when you dont see how its gonna work....
GOD WILL POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT ON YOU AND MAKE KNOWN HIS WORDS TO YOU!
YOU DONT UNDERSTAND YET! BUT YOU WILL....AFTER YOU RESPOND!
YOU DONT FEEL THE POWER YET! BUT YOU WILL... AFTER YOU REPSOND!
maybe its just falling to your knees... maybe its just saying a prayer...
but its just turning... and beginning to do what you can to walk toward him...even if its just one feeble weak step... thats all it takes... just one response.... all it really is, is God just seeing that you turned... you responded....and he will take control and do a work in your life!
MAN THATS AWESOME! CUS IM NOT A VERY SMART PERSON, AND I DONT HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER AND I DONT HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT, AND MY STRENGTH AND MY WISDOM FAILED ME, BUT GOD, SAW THAT I TURNED WHEN HE SPOKE... I JUST RESPONDED... AND HE BLESSED ME WITH POWER AND WISDOM AND MADE KNOWN HIS WORDS UNTO ME!
well amen... all it takes is a response, thats all he wants... doesnt matter what it is, just a response to show God you want him. and hell bless you.
JUST RESPOND... MAYBE ITS JUST TAKING A WALK TO THE ALTAR... EVEN THOUGH YOU DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND...AND GOD WILL MAKE IT WORK.
so dont worry, when you mess up and fall away for a time becuase life overwhelmed you... its not hard to get back, the Lord is calling, all you have to do is respond to it... its not about what you do when you respond... just the fact that you responded....
