• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't say I miss this place. However, I just thought I would stop in to let you know that I was thinking about you.

Actually, staying away from this place has been very beneficial to me, as I no longer have to put up with all the negativity that is generated within it.
I feel so much better as a result of this. And I have been far more productive too!

Anyway, wishing you all the best,
--woob:)

I know what you mean. I appreciate the interaction I find on CF but at sometimes it can be a little demoralizing I guess you could say. Anyway, I'll keep you in my prayers and I wish you the best.

Praise the Lord Woob for your peace of mind. I would like to see you come back but the fighting was not good.

May God richly bless you brother

Sometimes God must look at this forum and just cringe. I know I do.

But back to the original point of the thread: I hope all is well with Woob and I will keep him in my prayers. I'll also keep everyone else in my prayers as well. Just because these incidents get annoying doesn't mean I don't love you guys! :)

Me too!

Hey Woob!

I'm reading a good book called, Guide to Becoming Rich Without Cutting Up Your Credit Cards, by Robert T. Kiyosaki

In it I read something quite funny, which reminds of a lot of things that have transpired within this forum.

Basically, it doesn't matter what you do or who you are, you just can't please everyone. 33% of all people will hate or dislike you no matter what you do (even if you do good things), 33% will love you no matter what, and 33% just simply won't care either way.

Our task then is to get the 33% that don't care either way to join the ones that do love us, and to just simply ignore the 33% that hate or dislike us;)

May she rest in peace.

She was a mean, mean woman (after raising ten kids during the depression I think anyone would be), but deep down she was a diamond in the rough for sure.

The Lord knows her heart. I only got two kids and I'm a meannie sometimes!
