I first heard that Jesus loved me in an Adventist church.
I first heard that Jesus forgives me through His death on the cross in an Adventist church.
I learned reverence for God in an Adventist church.
I learned the Scriptures in an Adventist church.
I no longer belong to the Adventist church due to some doctrinal differences. But I still consider folks in the Adventist church to be Christian brothers and sisters. And I know many Adventist Christians who are very humble, godly people, who I admire and respect.
I also think Adventist churches tend to focus on integrating faith in to daily life, which is great.
Nothing negative here. Just letting you know that this "former" still appreciates some things in the Adventist church, since in some of our other discussions it may not come across that way.
