Just one drop of Blood?

It has been suggested that just one drop of the Divine Blood of Jesus can take away all not only our sins, but also all the sins of the world.

Actually, I don't get it. How can so little do so much?

Its not the 'amount' of blood that takes away sin, but the whole work of Christ and putting your trust in him. also, its the quality of the man, the quality of his blood.

I don't think I agree with that. If it was just one drop, why not stop after the flogging? why did he have to die? he didn't say "it is finished" until a lot more than 1 drop had been spilled.

It was the shedding of Christ's blood and His death that saved us! He took our place, by that I mean the judgment that was placed on Him was the wrath of God that should be placed on sinners. Read Isaiah 53, it was through His suffering and death that we become dead to sin and it is through His ressurection that we gain eternal life!

It was because the sacrifice really didn't have a lot to do with the physicality. Like Cain and abel, I don't think it mattered to God at all that Cain brought crops, but that he brought them in a wrong manner.
