Hi, everybody! Just waving hello from Texas . Thought I'd join up and see what CF has to offer. I don't know how much time I'll have to devote to the forums, but I'd like to know that you're here when I need to have some "instant" Christian fellowship.

I'm in my mid-forties, a stay-at-home-mom to a nearly 14-year-old son (yes, I can use prayer here! lol), married to a software product manager (been married 16 years), and have been a child of God for the last 36 years. I sing on my church's Praise Team and love to scrapbook and rubber stamp as well as write stories. I love the Newsboys, and was brokenhearted when Phil left the group at the end of last year. I enjoy reading Christian fiction (not books that are specifically "Christian romance") and watching old TV shows on DVD. (We don't have cable or anything -- we just use our TV for DVDs.)

So you like old TV shows? I do too. I have a quite a few of them on DVD. We love all of the ones from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. I hope more of them come out on DVD.
