Just In Time Provision

Throughout my life, I've always noticed that no matter how bad things get, the Lord has always provided what I've needed when I needed it. Not always what I've wanted, but what I've needed. Today's provision was just too perfect not to share.

I finally did my taxes this afternoon because I was dreading the outcome. I knew this year I'd be owing taxes for the first time in a long time, and I was right. Taxes due: around $3,800. Ouch.

Tucked away in the same stack of mail with my tax forms was a letter from the county courthouse from a state I moved away from in 2014. The letter stated that their records indicate that I have some money coming to me, after I fill out some paperwork and provide proper identification. Amount to be sent: around $3,800. Woohoo!

Praise the Lord!

He does provide, and He blesses us! Yet His blessings are not always about worldly riches nor for vain gain, but He blesses us in ways which will provide for our good in Him, and as you stated, He provides for what we need just when we need it the most!

He can also bless us abundantly in ways which we wouldn't expect, but then I believe it is because He knows we will turn our thankfulness directly to Him as our first thing to be done! And being content and thankful in everything!
