On my soap box agian! We had best not let the ACLU know about the last verse of our National Anthem, or they just might file another law suit!


Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

As to the last song--Most people do not realize that therw is a verse to "God Bless America." First, we must remember WHEN the song was written, at the time of the 2nd world war. And then, it all comes together!

Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer."

And yes, this IS our prayer--God, Bless America!

Thanks Dawn! Thought I would get the 5th off for my holiday, but due to vacations of others, just did not work out that way, BUT--hey--get Monday as my paid day off, so next week get 3 in a row!!

3 day weekends are great!! I don't go back until Monday myself Thought I would get some beach time in but it looks like it's supposed to rain all the days. Oh well, there are a million things I can do around home.
