LOL thanks...I like it too....it's new! I've been saving up my blessings so I can do this kinda fun stuff....and well, here it is.....I've had so many blessings lately I've been able to do the(what is is called?) avtar and my profile pic too. he he he. I'm going now to serve my family a late dinner. Husband/Dad came home from work late so we had to wait. Mmmmm chicken w/bacon lasagna...maybe I'll whip up a spinnach salad too. Oh God has blessed me with an abundant supply to my needs and a beautiful family!

I'm Sue, mesue is a nickname given to me when I worked at Attica Correctional Facility. It has stuck for 9 years and 2 jails. I'm a jail nurse. It's a pretty weird job. I like it. They pay me well for what I do. It is by no means a "glory" job. But it keeps a roof over our heads and food on the table. And after struggling with it for a couple of years, I really think it is where God wants me right now.

So? Who is that beautiful little girl?

One of my daughters looked a little bit like her a few years ago. My daughters hair is a little lighter...but I like to put her in that color combination too. It just looks so good on her.

Ahhh what a day! There were some struggles today in my life. My husband and I are still quite new to marriage and are still working out the kinks. Especially when it comes to finnances and childrearing. Sometimes it seems as though communication comes to a stand still. That is what is hardest for me. So I went to my Moms. I did some venting there and came home. He talked with me and we sorted things out. I feel much better now. Life sure is a challenge sometimes. I am so glad God gave me my precious family. They are a wonderful gift.

I'm sorry Wisdom Seeker...I should have given a description. That is Hanna, my niece. She had her fifth birthday party the other day and I took that picture of her while she was opening all of her gifts. She got alot of Barbie stuff. She looks mostly like her mommy, but I see some of my brithers look to her as well. She is absolutely adorable.

Hey, Wisdom Seeker...I hope that your are over your sneezes and coughs and such. How is your bedroom project coming along? Also, is your avatar a picture of you? Whoever it is...very pretty.

ds dumpling...how long have you been married?

mle, we've been married 5 years. Great guy, terrific step-father to my kids (and they're teenagers!). They really love him. There dad did the grass is greener on the other side thing 10 years ago and I met this wonderful man that married me. We had a great weekend together. The weather wasn't great but we had a blast anyway. We are still newlyweds

I'm sorry Wisdom Seeker...I should have given a description. That is Hanna, my niece. That is so funny. I have a neice named Hannah too. My sister spelled it so that it's a palendrome. (can be spelled the same backwards and forwards) I have two daughters myself. The one that your neice looks a little like is 9. I also have a 5 year old, but she's a blue eyed red head with very pale skin. Our 3 kids look like both of us. Weird how that works. You put the three of them together and they don't look a whole lot like each other.

I still haven't gotten my voice back yet. I sound like Demi Moore...which is funny since our birthdays are only a couple of days apart. (similarity ends there)

The office wall is up...but the door needs to be put on. And the shelve and closett door on my son's bedroom side of the wall aren't done either. The guy was supposed to come today...but he's coming tomorrow instead. After that is done and the carpet is repaired...we still have to paint. Then maybe we can get back to normal. Hard to work with the desk so close to the door that goes to the garage and the chair practically next to the dryer. (needless to say...laundry is not caught up. I keep trying, but I'm in my husband's way...and the glares I have to deal with...well...I won't go into that)

I'm not sure if you're talking about the picture I had up for my avatar a couple of days ago or not. But yes, both pictures are me. The one with the short hair was taken in 1999. This one is a couple of years more recent. I've been wondering if it's too personal to have my own picture as my avatar. I may put a different picture there and save the personal pictures for my profile. I feel a little conceited having my own picture...especially since hardly anyone else seems to do that here. ( I just figured that if my picture was up, people would know who they were talking to...that's all)

Thanks for the compliment. I'll pass it on to my mother. I look a lot like her. Just shorter and my hair is wavey where hers is thicker and straighter and so much longer.

Wish I had a picture of my sister in wedding dresses to share. But whenever I have to drive somewhere over an hour away with my kids...I get a little absentminded. I remember the map, the coats, the snacks...but I always seem to forget the digital camera. My bad. I can't believe my sister is getting married. My mother is completly freaked out. She doesn't like this guy at all. But then that's my Mom...she can't stand anyone else getting attention. She's always got to be the center of it.

Well...I've got to get off the computer before my husband comes in. I really need to save my money up and get myself my own computer so that no one bumps me off. That aught to take me about 10 years. I had to take a considerable cut in pay to own my co-own our company. Someday though...I'm sure it will pay off. Champagne dreams I guess.

Oh, before I forget.. We went to see Peter Pan at the movies this weekend. It was very good. I highly recommend it. I think it's the best version of that classic novel yet. And so close to the book too. With very little variation.

My daughters are only 16 months apart and people always ask if they are twins...that really drives them crazy.

Glad to hear you are doing a bit better. Hope your voice gets back to normaal soon.

Home renovating projects are a pain...we are constantly doing something to the house. Over the Summer we resided and put new windows in, now we are spending the winter painting, drywalling where some windows were made smaller or taken out completely, and putting new trim and baseboard up. Whew..sure does get overwhelming at times.

Yeah, i was talking about both pictures you have for your avatar... I love seeing who I am talking to...I hope you leave it up. I have thought about putting a pic of me as my avatar, but I need a better picture. I'll just leave it in my profile for now.

Hi everyone!!!!!

I just got home for my cooking class. We finnished early. It was great to get out of the house and visit with other women who have or are expecting babies. There is something about a lot of women in a kitchen that makes people get to know each other really quickly. I love my little job!
