CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, i'm Janet Ling. i'm also new in this christianforum. i found this wedsite when i trying to have my research for my bible study. alots of things still found news to me. i don't have any friends here and i hope to meet more and news friends which will helping me in spiritually. if you can't help me in my spiritual life, i'm also great to know you, maybe i can help you to grow in HIS midst.

Would ya believe this date - 2/2 - how fitting 4 this, my 2000th post in these fine forums; yay!!
4 the record, when I joined - 20 Jan '04 - we were only @ 23,700 folk here
We tripled in less than 6 months - hitting 80,000 as summer hols began
We quadrupled in @ 8 months - hitting 90.000 in Aug
Up to Sept, we grew @ 150 new folk per day - @ 1000 a week
But rate of growth seems to have slowed since...
So..
with Valentine's coming soon..
